This past week, I had the pleasure of meeting two fellow Democratic candidates here in Missouri.
First, I receive the exciting news that Linda Greeson is running for State Representative in the neighboring 59th district. Linda is a retired teacher and has some of the same goals I do, such as protecting pension for public workers. We had the chance to meet at the Cole County Democratic Club meeting on March 15 at Bones in the Alley, and it was a great conversation. We're looking forward to potentially hosting a joint fundraiser--I'll post more about it here on this blog.
The next day, I had the honor of attending a meet-and-great for Senator Claire McCaskill in Columbia. Claire inspires me because she has been up against some stiff opposition over the years, but she continues to push forward and try to do what is best for Missourians. I'm glad I had the opportunity to thank Senator McCaskill for her hard work.
Best of luck to both Linda and Claire...let's make the blue wave a reality for Missouri!
